Inauguration Ceremony – A Humble Invitation
Brothers and Sisters,

The grand inauguration of the Maratha Sankul, a long-cherished dream of every member of our community, is scheduled to take place on December 27, 2025, at 9:30 AM. This ceremony stands as a symbol of our unity, hard work, and foresight.
Please accept this as a personal invitation. We humbly request you to attend in large numbers with your families and witness the realization of the dream we have all envisioned and nurtured together.

we know you all excited to know about our most awaited Maratha Sankul hall inauguration program and also our Annual Gun Gaurav Sohala.
In fact we had informed you that if everything goes well we will tentatively hold that big event on 30th November.
Unfortunately due to some unavoidable reasons we are forced to postpone the event .
we are know planning to Hold the most awaited events Inaguration of Sankul hall and gun Gaurav in December 2025.
we are expecting participation of each and every Maratha Bandhav.

General Body Meeting 2024
On Sunday 25th February 2024, the Akhil Gomantak Kshatriya Maratha Samaj Sangathan held an annual general body(AGM) meeting at the Maratha Sankul in Porvorim, chaired by Mr. Suhas Phal Desai. During the meeting, several important resolutions were passed to promote the welfare of the community.
One of the resolutions was to complete the construction of the Samaj Sankul, which will serve as a hub for our community welfare activities. Another resolution was to start a membership drive at the taluka level to increase participation and engagement within the community.
However, the main topic of discussion during the meeting was the recent attack on Hon’ble Minister Subhash Phal Desai during the unveiling of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Statue in St Jose de Areal. The members of the Akhil Gomantak Kshatriya Maratha Samaj strongly condemned this attack and mudstone pelting on the former secretary of the Samaj Sangathan and social welfare minister. The members made it clear that the Samaj Bandhav is with Social Welfare Minister Subhash Phal Desai and that the community will not tolerate such acts of violence.
The Samaj also emphasized that they will not tolerate any insult to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the idol of the Maratha Samaj.
We as a responsible organisation aim to promote a peaceful and constructive environment for the community to thrive in.
The audited report for 2022-2023 and the budget for the period 2024-2025 were approved in the meeting. The Central executive committee informed that an auditor has been appointed to audit the accounts for the period 2023-2024.
The Akhil Gomantak Kshatriya Maratha Samaj is committed to promoting the welfare of the community and will continue to work towards this goal by engaging in constructive dialogue and taking positive actions for the betterment of the community.
